This group meets on a quarterly basis and is chaired by the Venerable David Hayden, Archdeacon of Norfolk. Its main aim is to develop and pursue initiatives related to opening and promoting churches across the Norwich Diocese and to increase their use by visitors, pilgrims and members of the local community.

Current objectives are to:

Identify suitable areas of funding for church based visitor/tourism schemes.

Coordinate visitor management training across the Diocese for church wardens and others involved.

Share and disseminate good practice and contribute positively to church promotion and media initiatives.

Encourage the creative use of church buildings.
