Committed to Growth

The Diocese of Norwich is Committed to Growth in discipleship, service and numbers. The Bishop of Norwich writes: I invite everyone to share in our Diocesan commitment to growth. In practice this means:

• our growth as disciples of Jesus Christ
• our growth in service to God and our neighbours
• our growth in the number of people worshipping God and learning to be Christ's disciples

This is the mission to which we believe God is calling our Diocese.

These web pages contain some examples of what all this may mean in practice. Not everything is appropriate everywhere, but all of us can be Committed to Growth in different ways.

Please use this material in PCC meetings, parish away days, in study groups, house groups and deanery synods - or any other appropriate setting - to get everyone thinking and praying. What's here is no rule or burden, but an encouragement to grow in Christ.
