And Assistant Priest in the Wensum Benefice (comprising Weston Longville w Morton-on-the-Hill, Great w Little Witchingham and Lenwade, Alderford, Attlebridge, Swannington and Ringland)

Duties: - The equivalent of 2 days per week plus 2 services on Sunday

These parishes are set in a most attractive rural area with easy access to Norwich. A very fine, modern, 4-bedroomed house with study is available in the neighbouring village of Easton.

Honingham cherishes the use of the Book of Common Prayer and the Authorised Version of the Bible and incorporates within its pattern of worship a rich tradition of special services throughout the year. The PCC has passed resolutions A and B of the Ordination of Women to the Priesthood Measure.

The Wensum Benefice is made up of six distinct communities. Its worship is principally Eucharistic using Common Worship and vestments but also includes a variety of non-eucharistic lay-led services.  The Rector is Rural Dean of Sparham, and there is a Reader.  The ordained ministry of women is supported everywhere.

Remuneration: - In addition to the house a stipend of £2500 per annum will be paid.
