Team Rector of the Hempnall Group of Parishes

The 'Hempnall Group' is a well established team ministry in a group of six parishes with eight churches. There is a part time Team Vicar in post, together with significant lay leadership. The people of the parishes say they wish to be

The Hempnall Group of Parishes are Topcroft, Woodton, Morningthorpe, Shelton, Fritton, Bedingham, Hempnall and Hardwick.  10 – 15 miles south of Norwich.

rooted…  informed.. questioning..vivid.. contagious…attentive.. incarnate…practical and pragmatic Christians.  They are seeking someone who will

• feel comfortable with the rural setting and understand and be sympathetic to the mores and demands of rural life
• have the ability to lead a team of lay and ordained people
• balance the needs of particular parishes with those of the Group
• be an enabler who will support lay ministry
• demonstrate strong spirituality
• stretch the church community intellectually as well as spiritually
• have energy and enthusiasm to reach out beyond the church community
• relish the challenge of involving young and old
• be sociable and enjoy people;  be tolerant, receptive, discreet.
