Project Development Officer - Mothers' Union

We are looking for someone with project planning and development experience, particularly rural community projects and who has an enthusiasm for the voluntary sector, empowering volunteers.

Maximum Salary
£8000 for 15 Hours per week (equivalent to £19,733 for Full Time)

Holiday Entitlement
11 days (equivalent to 28 days for Full time)

Based at Diocesan House, Easton and/or Home working

Mothers’ Union in the Diocese of Norwich is a Christian organisation with more than 3.6 million members in 78 countries worldwide.  We aim to encourage, strengthen and support relationships and family life.

We are looking for someone with project planning and development experience, particularly rural community projects and who has an enthusiasm for the voluntary sector, empowering volunteers.  You will work across the diocese, both with the church and the wider community, identifying and developing projects.

The right person will be: educated to degree level or equivalent, with excellent communication and organisational skills and be highly motivated, working alone and in teams.

Due to the Genuine Occupational Requirements of this post, an active commitment to the Christian Faith is required.  The post is also subject to an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure check.
