Gates open at 4.00pm.and the gardens are open to 6.00pm. Popular show music 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Swing Band from 8.00pm to 9.00pm

"Swing in the Park" at Broome Lodge near Bungay. Bring a picnic and enjoy the music of the famous South Norfolk Youth Symphonic Band followed a Swing Band.

Following their amazing success in the Far East where they played to Royalty and Prime Ministers. Broome church P.C.C have managed to book the popular Bands for an afternoon and evening concert. Proceeds will be for the restoration of Broome church.

The band will play popular show music in the afternoon and a swing band will play in the evening.


The event takes place in a lovely parkland setting at Broome Lodge, a few minutes from Bungay. There is plenty of parking close by,and plenty of tea and cakes too! But you are encouraged to bring picnics, hampers, tables and candelabra, they will not have to be carried very far!  (unfortunately no barbecues).

This is a wonderful way to spend a summers afternoon, and if you fit into the category of  "It don't mean a thing, if you ain't got that Swing! This is the occasion to get with it.

Cost and booking:
( Advance booking £7.00 and £5.00 for children under 16. Infants are free ) £9.00 at the gate..  Tickets required.  Please book in advance.
