The education department, based at Diocesan House, enriches, serves and supports school:
The Diocese has 38 Voluntary Aided schools, 70 Voluntary Controlled schools with 2 Foundation schools. These 110 schools represent more than half of Norfolk's small schools and serve a quarter of the young people in the Diocese.
We provide professional advice on inspection, employment and accommodation and set up training seminars for clergy, parishes, teachers and governors.
