Tue 9 Sep At this meeting Amanda Payne will be giving a presentation on Move on East (formerly NACRO) an organisation working with offenders, exoffenders and individuals at risk of offending, giving a range of support services.

Wed 10 Sep This one day Certificated Course, run under the RYA scheme, is based on the equivalent St John Ambulance course.

Sat 13 Sep Local meditators are running a repeat of the popular four-week course 'Further Steps in Christian Meditation' at the beautiful retreat space at Nogg’s Barn, Little Melton.

Tue 16 Sep Training Course for Children's Workers. Core Skills will give you the confidence, understanding and skills you need to work with children and nurture them in their journey of faith, whether you are experienced, new to children's work or hoping to start. It will inspire and refresh you and the work you do.

Sat 20 Sep Fresh Expressions. A one year part time course which aims to equip you to begin this ministry and to go on learning. Beginning on 20 September 2008, it runs over 6 Tuesday evenings, 3 Saturdays and 1 residential weekend.

Northern Harmony are a world music choir from the USA and are touring Europe this autumn with a thrilling repertoire. They sing songs from Georgia, Bulgaria, Corsica, Africa and America, amongst others.

Sat 11 Oct 'My Place' is a new Diocesan 3-session short course for any lay adult Christian to explore God’s plans for their life.

Bishop of Lynn will be present. We will be talking about Papua New Guinea, reflecting on recent events such as the visit of Bishops and their wives prior to the Lambeth Conference. We will be planning our next projects. We will be watching recent videos of Papua New Guinea.

Fri 31 Oct A lighter alternative to Hallowe'en for Children. An event to shed bright light on Hallowe'en! An fun alternative to tramping the streets for children aged 4-11, with their group leaders or families.

Sat 1 Nov A short course of three sessions. During the two evening sessions we will explore the boundaries of Christian belonging with regard to two currently pressing issues - race and gender/sexuality.

Tue 16 Sep Based on TIME FOR ACTION, the Churches Together in Britain & Ireland report around sexual abuse, this is a one-day seminar/workshop. Led by Sue Atkinson, it is aimed at clergy, readers, youth workers and all lay leaders who may have to deal with abuse issues.

Reaching Families in your Community. Messy Church is a fresh expression of church; an exciting concept for reaching families for whom traditional church does not make much sense.
