Sharing Care - Older People
A four-week course to support and encourage all those who care for older people in our communities in any of many ways.
It was written with laity particularly in mind, but clergy are very welcome too. Across the diocese, this course will be delivered by trained people who will encourage and equip participants in their ministry with older people, valuing the particular experiences and insights which each person will bring to the course and inviting participation at all levels.
Participants required: 10 - 16.

The Bereavement Journey
This six-session course is for people who are interested in assisting with parish bereavement visits or for those who may be offering support to bereaved people, friends, family or neighbours.
It is hoped that by the end of the course, participants will feel more confident about accompanying others on their journey through grief.
Participants required: 10 - 16.

Developing Prayer Ministry
A new three-session course devised to affirm, support and equip those drawn to the ministry of prayer. It explores both theological and practical issues around this ministry and enables people to explore how they might offer what they learn in and through their local church.

Growing Healthy Churches
This course, run over three afternoons/evenings or on one full day, is suitable for all settings, rural and urban, all church traditions, and all sizes of congregation. Identify what your church is doing well and explore areas where there may be room for growth.

Reaching Out: a pastoral visiting course
A new three-session course of encouragement, reflection and practical ideas for all those who make pastoral visits of any sort. Gather a group of people interested in this course and we will come and lead it for you.
