Grants for Inter Faith Week events:
Youth groups can apply for grants of £200-£500 to run events and projects supporting Inter Faith Week 2009 (in or around November 15-21) which aims to highlight the importance of understanding and co-operation between faiths. Projects must involve young people of different faiths or provide learning about different faiths and beliefs
Examples of projects include: joining another faith group for a celebration of worship, organising an interfaith table tennis competition or setting up an interfaith blog.
Deadline for applications is 2 October; forms from Inter Faith Youth Trust website.
Fresh Ideas Grants from the Youth and Children’s Task Forces offer up to £100 to support work within the Anglican churches of the Diocese of Norwich. Applications may also be from Anglican groups working ecumenically.
The total grant fund is limited and the schemes will close when all monies are allocated.
Grants will not be given retrospectively.
Applications should be made at least two months in advance.
Fresh Ideas for Children Grants support work with children up to the age of 11.
